Village Enterprise featured in The Life You Can Save 10th Anniversary edition
The Life You Can Save has endorsed Village Enterprise as a recommended charity for effective giving for several years, based on our robust evidence of impact, best-in-class internal monitoring and evaluation system, and strong record of adaptation and innovation. In early December, Peter Singer, philanthropist, author, and founder of the organization, launched the 10th edition of his book, The Life You Can Save. Village Enterprise is featured in the section “Better Than Aid”, and the Village Enterprise Uganda Country Director, Winnie Auma, narrates a chapter for the audio version, alongside celebrities such as Kristen Bell, Paul Simon, Stephen Fry and others. You can download the ebook and audiobook for free here.
The New York Times published an interview with Peter Singer and Paul Simon in which they discuss the book, advocate for the need to help others who are less fortunate, and mention Village Enterprise as a worthy organization to donate to.
