Our roots are deep in Africa
Village Enterprise works with women, refugees, and youth living in extreme poverty in rural Africa.
With over 310 passionate team members, we work in Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda to directly implement our model. We hire our field team directly from the communities and villages we serve, and as a result, over 94% of our team is African.
Through strategic partnerships, we also work in Madagascar, Nigeria, and Tanzania. In these countries, Village Enterprise staff provide technical assistance to local organizations on how to implement and scale our model. We have previously worked in Congo-Brazzaville, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Mozambique.
